Praṇava-mantra is considered the most important mantra in the Vedic tradition and is believed to be the first mantra emerging from the creator’s throat. It is viewed as the root for all the other spiritual mantras and is called the universal mantra. Praṇava is chanted traditionally at the beginning and the end of every mantra and in the yoga sessions. It is believed that chanting this mantra can make you happier, healthier and more spiritually connected.
