the rest is human form, full of calm
goddess Lakṣmī is seated by your side
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
when demons took over the glorious light
and hid it in deep caves of darkness
you fought them bravely to restore balance
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
the patron of education and arts, you are!
a beacon of hope, healing and clarity too!
expressions always find their way, thanks to you
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
my ancestors have honoured you for centuries
through prayer, rituals and powerful chants!
hearing them, you have blessed them generously
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
you inspire me through your silent charm
your gentle eyes connect to my core
your graceful gait illuminates my path
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
your sacred name is medicine to my pain
your divine form forgives my sins
your example inspires me toward nobility
Hayagrīva! you are my saving grace!
your eternal presence nourishes my heart
i find purpose in venerating you
i bow my head and place it at your feet
